why people resist your irresistible offer
(how to create organic offers that actually sell)
We have all heard about offers.
Offers are crucial when it comes to business.
However, creating and selling an offer is something a lot of people struggle with:
Freelancers
Agency owners
Online coaches
I struggled with it for 2 years.
That's why I want to talk about 2 types of offers I've experienced:
Forced offers → Chasing
Organic offers → Attracting
Forced offers are randomly created, not based on experience or demand, but based on a theory that has not been tested previously.
Organic offers are intentionally created.
They are suggestions coming from a group of people who are getting value from you.
People who appreciate your work, dedication, and development as a human.
When you create an organic offer, there are people ready to pay for it.
So how do we avoid forced offers and create organic ones?
Offers Are Value.
In order to produce value for other people, you must discover what's valuable to them.
In addition to that, once you discover what's valuable for other people, you gotta be able to deliver a real solution.
This is only possible when you have gone through and solved the problems your potential buyers are looking to solve.
Why Can't People Sell?
I believe so many people online can't sell their offers simply because they are trying to sell a solution they have never experienced.
This happened to me for more than 2 years:
I tried to create an SMMA offer → failed
I tried running a content agency → failed
I tried a copywriting offer → failed
These were all forced offers that did not work.
I was trying to offer a solution I had never experienced before.
I myself was struggling to get clients.
How Organic Offers Are Created.
There are 3 steps that we can follow to experience organic offers:
Preparation
Showcasing/sharing expertise (authentically)
Creating a connection with an audience
1) Preparation
There was a point where I decided to create content on Instagram.
I wanted my reels to be edited in a specific style, so I learned video editing.
It took me some time to learn, because I did not find a tutorial explaining the style I wanted for my reels.
However, after a month of practice, I finally started posting some reels.
I prepared myself within a field.
2) Showcasing/Sharing Expertise
a) Showcasing.
When I posted my first reels…
Something interesting happened:
Some creators reached out to me, saying they liked my editing style.
And they asked me if they could pay me to edit their reels.
This was the first time I experienced an organic offer.
An offer that I did not come up with, but once I created it, there were people ready to pay for it.
b) Sharing.
After practicing with clients, I created a tutorial on YouTube.
This was the tutorial I wish I had when I started my content journey.
Within a month, the tutorial went viral:
I offered a free product, but people asked for more.
So I created my second organic offer: my first digital product.
As soon as I published the product, it started selling.
The next organic offer I experienced was when people asked me for 1:1 calls.
I did not have that option, but I created it, and people bought right away.
3) Creating Connection with an Audience
Notice how every time organic offers were created, it was because people asked.
This happened because…
I took the time to grow an audience by creating stuff I wish I had in the past.
The value of these offers came by knowing what to deliver because I walked the path of preparation and solving the editing problem for myself first.
The emphasis here is not on the video editing industry, but rather on the principles I applied:
Preparation
Showcasing/Sharing (authentically)
Creating connections with others
The Real Path.
Offers come from preparation.
They are a reward that comes from the intentional work of improving yourself.
It's how the Universe tells you you're on the right path.
The Universe rewards those who truly prepare to be able to serve other people.
When you develop yourself, other people notice your expertise.
You should not try to sell your expertise, just showcase it creatively.
The best way to be creative is by creating golden stuff you wish you had in the past.
That alone will attract the people you deserve to attract.
And the people you can truly deliver a solution to.
I know that's not the fancy answer you see online, it's not shiny, and it takes time and patience.
But it's the real solution.
