Why Do So Many People Struggle With Money?

Time and energy mismanagement.

That's one of the reasons why most people struggle financially.

We have believed the lie that time is money. Therefore, many of us have traded huge amounts of our daily time for a limited amount of money.

Having a job is not the problem, but being stuck with just one stream of income is.

The problem with a limited income is that, over time, it can cause stress and frustration:

• Feeling tight all the time

• Worrying about debts

• Having to work extra hours

Many articles and studies - including one from the Federal Reserve - highlight that stagnant incomes have not kept pace with the rising costs of:

• Housing

• Groceries

• And other necessities

Forcing many to even use their savings or take on more debt.

The solution?

Understanding the different sources from which income is produced.

And leveraging the right activities to go from limited to unlimited income options without working harder, but by working with smart intention instead.

How is Income Generated?

Money is spiritual.

The paper is just a message that represents the value we've produced within a specific job or market.

To produce this value, a person must use their resources - time, energy, expertise - to complete their work.

However, it's not so much about the value itself, but as to what level that value is being produced.

There are several levels at which a person can use their resources to produce value.

The lower the level, the harder the work, and the lower the reward.

The higher the level, the "easier" the work, and the higher the rewards.

To dive deeper into this concept, I want to share a concept I learned from Myron Golden.

A concept that once understood can change the trajectory of your income.

The 4 Levels of Value

1) Implementation

Limited incomes mainly come from a repetitive way of earning money.

In this level of value, people use their limited time a day and physical muscles to produce value:

• Cleaners

• Construction workers

• Drivers

• Alongside a lot of other jobs

Most people operate here.

The reality is, when you use limited resources to produce value, you will obtain a limited outcome.

Money at scale - or unlimited money - can't be produced from limited, physical resources alone.

A lot of corporate positions also fall into this category.

Because many find themselves performing repetitive tasks, which lead to a repetitive paycheck.

2) Unification

Another way of earning money is with management skills.

People who manage teams, workers, and employees have the potential to work less hard, but smarter.

Management requires more spiritual skill, that's why it is paid better:

• It requires more experience

• More responsibility

• More decision-making

However, managers are still bound to their limited time a day, and the limited resources from the workers they're managing.

A higher level of value, but still producing a limited income.

3) Communication

Here's where things get interesting.

At this level, people use messages to produce value:

• Authors

• Speakers

• Content creators

They communicate messages that move the masses.

Messages that cause an impact on other people.

Language is a spiritual resource.

Only we humans - a combination of physical and spiritual beings - have the ability to communicate with words to understand each other.

Communicating a message that is valuable to others is a highly spiritual skill, and that's also why it has the potential for higher reward:

• Books are written once and sold many times

• Videos online are recorded once, viewed many times

• Digital products are created once, can be sold many times

A higher level of value, leveraging a spiritual resource, therefore having the possibility to make money at scale.

4) Imagination

Lastly, we have imagination.

Our thoughts are not physical; they're spiritual.

Here's where we can use our unlimited, spiritual resource of imagination to produce value at scale.

It's about being creative.

You take the non-visible ideas that you have in your mind and bring them into the visible, physical world.

Our imagination is unlimited.

The better the quality of your ideas, the better things you can imagine and produce, the better the rewards you can get.

This is why it is crucial to consume high-quality ideas.

When you do, ideas pop up in your mind like seeds ready to be planted.

The way you plant them is by capturing them and connecting them together with your own unique perspectives.

Solving the Financial Struggle

The fastest path to go from poverty to wealth is to become a better thinker.

But to become a better thinker, one has to be intentional with their actions and take their life seriously.

The great spiritual skill of imagining and communicating impactful messages comes from people who have taken the time to develop themselves.

Most people struggle not only because they're operating under a lower level of value, but also because they haven't developed themselves to operate at higher levels.

To develop yourself to a higher level of value, you must exercise your creativity.

Start Your Own Creative Quest

Everything starts with awareness.

Whether you have a job or not, recognize where you are investing most of your time.

You then use this awareness to invest your time in a higher level of value by starting a creative quest.

This quest can be started by looking at your past and questioning how it has led you to where you are:

• What lessons have you learned?

• What mistakes would you avoid?

• What are your current perspectives?

You can then turn these ideas into a project that helps society.

These ideas can take the form of:

• A guide to your younger self

• Content

• Small summaries of your life lessons

The best thinkers communicate valuable messages to audiences based on the experience they have (lessons they've learned) and their current view of life.

When you become aware in life, analyze the experiences you've been through, and start creating shareable ideas, you start to become a better thinker.

This is how you start operating within the highest level of value.

And eventually, you build the possibility to earn unlimited income by leveraging a spiritual resource.
